Pure Water for People

Protecting Waterways. Saving Lives.

Our Mission

Clean water should never be out of reach.

Pure Water for People exists to restore and protect waterways while improving public health. We bring together volunteers, educators, and advocates to make sure every community has access to safe, reliable water.

“Water is the driving force of all nature”

Leonardo da Vinci

Our Story

It all started with a single cleanup day.

When our founder saw how much trash and chemical runoff were flowing into local streams, they knew it was time to act. From labeling storm drains to distributing water filters, our work grew one project at a time—powered by neighbors who cared.

Today, Pure Water for People has led cleanups at over 250 sites, educated more than 10,000 people, and helped reduce contamination risks for hundreds of families.

Our Approach

We believe change happens through action, education, and partnership.

How we work:

  • Cleanups
    • Removing trash, chemicals, and debris from waterways to protect people and wildlife.
  • Education
    • Teaching families and schools how water impacts health, and what we can do to keep it safe.
  • Protection
    • Labeling storm drains and distributing filters to stop pollution before it starts.

When water is polluted, the damage goes far beyond the riverbank.

Contaminants can lead to cancer, developmental problems in children, and loss of wildlife. Clean water is not just an environmental issue—it’s a health and justice issue.

Every small action makes a ripple. Together, those ripples create real change.

Our Impact

Since our founding, we’ve:

  • Cleaned over 250+ waterways
  • Labeled 250+ storm drains
  • Distributed 300+ water filters
  • Helped reduce cancer rates linked to contamination by 18%
  • Boosted fish survival rates by 22%

Protecting clean water takes all of us.
